Url ending in .mp3 format?

I'm having a little issue here. First let me clarify: I am not trying to find a site to download music illegally. As in, I AM NOT TRYING TO FIND A SITE TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC ILLEGALLY. Please don't reply telling me that X illegal downloads site is awesome for such things, or that X sucks and I should try Y instead (every single similar question on yahoo answer i've seen has received solely these replies). I have the mp3 file already. What I am trying to accomplish is to have it publicly hosted in such a way that it maintains its .mp3 ending. I've tried many sites and none seem to work. Can someone either point me in the direction of a site that does offer public mp3 hosting that actually provides url's in .mp3 ending format, or help me 'translate' the advice from the link above, as it's seemed to work for people?
