Law on student and teacher relationships?

Pretty much only date guys older than me, I am 27 now, but when I was 16 I wouldn't consider going out with a 23 year old, that gap is to high in that age range. She is not completely mentally developed to understand certain in relationships. She is almost at the age of consent. The only thing that I can tell you is that sometimes the more you try to help somebody, the more you push them away. Sometimes you just have to step back and hope that they don't fall on their face. Sometimes they have to do that in order to realize that they made a bad decision.
